It is a great video Derek. I have posted the link on my facebook. It was one of those `ify' kind of early mornings - with an uneasy breeze and a bumpy horizon. So pleased we decided to Just Do It. The first surprise was the huge raft of kelp that turned out to be a sleeping whale just off Buffels slipway. We did not see the other two whales on route to the Point until they popped up between our kayaks. The consternation and delight at being tossed in a whale’s wake will probably stay with us longer than the memory of the deep sea swells at the Point. The Cape of Storms was on form. Huge sets of swells with rippling crests threatened to crash and crush as they surged past. A complete contrast to the calm in the sea cave. Thanks for a special trip. KimK
